Drifting in the water!

Learning the hard way that writing a book is an interesting concept, but a lot  of dedication is required. Currently working a 1st draft of the story. Never thought I would want to write but some life changing events have occurred in the last year that have stimulated my mind. Reading an unnamed popular novel started a story unwinding in my head. I tried to ignore it but it wouldn't go away. Plot ideas clouded my mind, story continued to unfold, so with the advise of friends in the field who said just write, that's what I'm doing. Ive never been as excited about a personal idea as much as I am with this ! Details to follow!
